Welcome to Sefton Dance Academy!

 

Sefton Dance Academy is a family~run studio by Principals Jennifer and Camille Sefton and is now going into its 39th year. The Academy caters for students of all ages and abilities for girls and boys.

Sefton Dance Academy offers both recreational classes and CSTD Examination and Performance Classes.

All classes are conducted by qualified, experienced and passionate teachers in a fun, friendly atmosphere.

What to Wear

 

Our studio colours are Black, White and Fushia pink and we encourage students to wear the above colours.

 

Pre Schoolers

In this class the students are free to wear what they like.  Tutus, fairy dresses, leotards and skirts in any colour. Ballet and Tap shoes required.

 

Jazz/Tap Classes 

Dance Shorts/Pants, Crop Tops or leotards to be worn with Camel Jazz/Ballet or Tap shoes.  Hair should be neat and tidy and up in a pony tail or bun

 

Ballet Classes

Hair to be in a bun with black or pink leotard, pink ballet stockings or ankle socks and pink ballet shoes.  Chiffon ballet skirt may be worn. No Dance pants or shorts.

 

Acro Classes

Leotard or crop top with fitted singlet over crop top.  Dance shorts or dance pants.  No skirts or baggy t-shirts to be worn.  Camel Acro shoes with grips.

 

Hip Hop Classes

Loose clothing, ie – Track pants and t-shirt with runners.

 

Contemporary Classes

Black or Pink Leotard with leggings or dance shorts.  Bare feet or foot undies on feet

 

Musical Theatre

Comfortable clothing (Students own choice) with appropriate footwear.
